The narrative follows the intertwined lives of Fang Leng, Xiao Qi, Fang Lie, and Zhou Siqin. Fang Leng takes Xiao Qi on a shopping spree, displaying his affection. Fang Lie's attempts to woo Xiao Bu are comically interrupted by his mother, Zhou Siqin, who also blames Fang Leng for the ensuing chaos. Xiao Qi learns of Fang Leng's annual visit.
